Health Care Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)

Health Aides work under the supervision of a nurse or physical therapist on all of our patient cases. The nurse and/or physical therapist create a care plan for the HHA to follow based on the patient's physical needs.
Home Health Aides provide personal care for our patients within the scope of their practice and report all findings to their supervising nurse or physical therapist.
Visits are one hour in length.
Services provided by the HHA, but not limited to, include:
- bathing of the patient
- light housekeeping
- meal preparation
- medication packing
- monitoring of vital signs
- reinforcement of dressing
